eguminous species, very characteristic of the thorny forest of Chile. Highly resistant to drought and pressure from goat farming. Very long-lived specimens are found in the central zone.

Habitat

It prefers areas very exposed to the sun. Wide distribution, Bolivia. Peru, Argentina and Chile.
